How Much Does Schengen Visa Cost

How Much Does Schengen Visa Cost. Are you planning a trip to Europe? If so, you’ll likely need a Schengen visa. One of the critical factors to consider when applying for this visa is the cost. Understanding the expenses involved can help you plan your budget effectively and avoid any financial surprises along the way. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll delve into the various aspects of Schengen visa costs, including application fees, additional charges, and tips to minimize expenses.

How Much Does Schengen Visa Cost

Schengen Visas Visa Fees in Zar for All s.a. Locations Visa Fees in Pula
Schengen Visa Short Stay Adult (Over 12 years) 1640 1189
Schengen Visa Short Stay child (6-12 years) 820 595
Schengen Visa Short Stay Minor (Under 6 years) 0 0

Additional Charges

In addition to the basic application fee, there may be other charges associated with your Schengen visa application. For instance, if you’re using a visa processing service or a visa application center (VAC), they may impose service charges. These charges can vary depending on the service provider and the level of assistance you require.

Moreover, if you’re applying for a visa through a third-party agency or using premium services offered by some consulates, expect to pay extra fees. These additional charges can significantly increase the overall cost of obtaining your Schengen visa.

Travel Insurance

Another essential expense to consider when applying for a Schengen visa is travel insurance. Schengen visa requirements mandate that applicants have adequate travel insurance coverage for the duration of their stay in the Schengen area. The cost of travel insurance can vary depending on factors such as your age, the duration of your trip, and the coverage limits.
