Under this codeshare agreement, travelers booking American Airlines flights gain convenient access to flights bound for the Philippines. The routes include flights to Manila from Tokyo, Honolulu, and Guam, as well as flights to Cebu from Tokyo. This expanded connectivity enhances the travel experience, allowing seamless exploration of the capital and economic hub, Manila, and the gateway to tropical paradises, Cebu.

In reciprocation, Philippine Airlines will operate select flights between Los Angeles and seven major U.S. cities, bearing its distinctive “PR” code. The cities covered include Atlanta, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, and Washington, D.C.
